Dear Friends, Family and Neighbors
On May 18th, 750 Rotary Clubs in 10 states will be holding various events to raise funds for hundreds of local and global causes. Our club will be holding a recycling event to raise funds for things like I've listed below.
How can you help? Rotary’s EPIC Day of Service encourages us to do all we can to make our communities and our world a better place. I’m hoping you'll help by making a donation to support Rotary projects in our local and global communities. Just a few examples of the hundreds of thousands of ways that Rotary is making a difference:
• Early Education – we buy books and read to kindergarteners in under-served schools.
• Scholarships for local senior high school students going on to colleges and trade schools.
• Grants to worthy organizations in my area, Parker, CO.
• Visits to senior centers and hospitals during the holidays
• Volunteering to raise food for families in need
It doesn't matter how much or little you contribute, just whatever you want to give.
If you're in the Parker area, consider using this opportunity to get rid of old paint, stacks of papers and used up lithium batteries. I've attached a flyer below with more details on the event itself.
Your support means a lot to me, and immensely more to the people whose lives you’ll touch.
THANKS!
